Close to the centre of the "Fair City" of Perth, the college is attractively situated in wooded grounds. The campus consists of 4 college buildings, student’s residences and a nursery. Car parking is available and buses run regularly from the town centre.
AST has its Administration Centre and a number of classrooms within the Brahan Building where all of our students have access to the finest modern study facilities.
The Brahan Building is the largest teaching and administration block on the campus with extensive classroom and laboratory provision. Additionally there is a 150 seat lecture theatre, library and study facility with a Learning café and Costa coffee store. It also houses a large refectory which serves snacks, hot and cold meals & a prizewinning training restaurant.
The extensive library, study centre, drop in study support area known as 'The Learning Zone' and lecture theatre are situated over three floors within a modern purpose developed addition to the main building.
Perth College UHI and AST students have access to bookable and free access computers in the study centre in Brahan Building, the Student Union (Webster Building) and the Goodlyburn Building. All areas of the college are wireless enabled and ICT support is available.
The Webster Building, the newest of the campus teaching areas has two further research centres on its upper floor with the ground floor forming the Student Union. A Starbucks coffee store, free access computers, pool table and comfortable seating provide a sociable and accessible student space on campus. The Student Association has its office in this building and offers information, friendship and social activities for all students.
The Academy of Sport & Wellbeing is the newest addition to the Perth College UHI Campus. The official opening of the facility was in March 2017 and the new facilities boast cario and strength resistance equipment, dedicated weights lifting area, sports hall as well as a climbing centre. Within the fitness studio, members can enjoy a range of body conditioning classes, as well as take part in group training sessions using the Queenax functional training rig, a revolutionary multi-dimensional fitness method that gives the ultimate full body workout.
Perth College UHI is a partner college of the University of the Highlands and Islands Institute. This developing university is an innovative response to the educational needs of the sparsely populated Highlands and Islands Region of Scotland, providing higher education to a high standard through a network of local colleges.
