Air Service Training (Engineering) Ltd (AST) has a long and successful history of providing training to the world's airlines, aircraft maintenance organisations and military formations. During this time we have trained over 12,000 engineers from more than 150 countries. Our training programmes are renowned for their consistency and relevance to the fast changing demands of the aviation industry.
For many years AST was approved by the United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority under the BCAR Section L, licensing system, and then its successor the JAR-66.
AST currently holds IR Part 147 approval to conduct training and examinations to meet the requirements of the IR Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence in all currently available categories.
