Short Modular Courses & Approved Examinations

Air Service Training (Engineering) Ltd, (AST) has been delivering training to the worlds airlines, maintenance organisations and military formations for 70 years, and is approved to offer training and examinations to meet the requirements of the IR Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence. Approved examinations can be offered in all current IR Part 66 modules, and are normally held on the first Friday of each month. Additionally, AST can offer short modular courses and approved examinations for those seeking to convert existing UK CAA issued licences to the full IR Part 66 standard, and those seeking initial licence issue through the self-improver route. AST is currently the only United Kingdom training school that holds approval for Helicopter licence examinations.
